Fitness App | Fooducate

If you're trying to change your eating habits and eat healthier with less additives and better ingredients, Fooducate is the app to have! Fooducate contains a wealth of information and user reviews about many of the foods we consume on a daily basis. With a simple scan of a barcode the app returns a grade (A-, B+, C, etc…) Each product is graded by using a scientific algorithm based on its nutrition facts and ingredient list. I spent hours in the grocerry store the first time I ever used the app and it was eye opening how many foods I thought were good for my family and their grade proved otherwise. My favorite part of fooducate is that it will recommend other foods - with a better grade and always recommends minimally processed, real foods that are naturally rich in nutrients and antioxidants.

This app is amazing for anyone who is confused about which foods are best for you, because eating healthy doesn't always mean counting calories or working out. Sure, a calorie is a calorie, but if you give your body calories from better quality foods, you get the benefits of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that artificially processed foods with lots of additives, high fructose corn syrup, and other "empty" calories just can't match.

Along with providing details Grades and info, Fooducate also allows for you to keep track of your food intake, similiar to My Fitness Pal it will count the calories you are consuming and it will also show you a detailed breakdown of the nutrition present in a packaged food.
