Whole Food (for 30 days) Meal Plan - Week One

I am one week of a plan based on Whole30 - I am calling it Whole30-ish or a Whole Food Meal plan (This is not a true Whole30 as I continued to drink Shakeology- which is not allowed) This is not a diet, it is not a quick fix, it's not even a weight loss program. The Whole30 is designed to change your life. It is meant to change the way you think about food, your body, your life, and what you want out of the time you have left on this earth!!! It’s much bigger than just food. I am using it as a guideline to eat Whole food and eliminate grains, sugars and dairy from my diet.

Whole30 is a program where you strip out all foods that have a poor impact on your health, both physically and psychologically. This means you eliminate all sugar, grains, dairy, and legumes and replace them with more wholesome, natural ingredients.

The plan is still based on clean eating just like 21 Day Fix or any of the CONTAINER COUNTING meal plans, but emphasises that you eat three meals a day, starting with a good breakfast and with each meal you use a meal template to fill your plates with protein, veggies & healthy fats! Probably my favorite part is all the extra HEALTHY FAT (We are talking 3 Blue containers a day - for my fellow fixers you know what I mean! )

One week in and I FEEL AMAZING - seriously, energy through the roof and I have cut my coffee intake in half! I am looking forward to continuing another week.

* Something to consider with each of these meal when I follow Whole30 I cook in Coconut Oil or Ghee and make sure I have a good amount of fat with each meal - for FIX eating plan you eliminate those extra fats and tweak accordingly
