I get asked a LOT if you can become a Beachbody coach just for the discount - HERE IS THE ANSWER - YES!!!!! One of the most common misconceptions about signing up as a Beachbody coach is that you actually HAVE to coach. There are many people who sign up as a Beachbody coach just to get the discount on Shakeology and programs. Just ask my mom, sister and brother! They LOVE the products and use them religiously but they don't actually COACH anyone. So don’t let the term “coach” scare you.
The truth is as a Beachbody coach you get 25% off ANY order - for my Shakeology LOVERS that is over $30 per month. You can save between $180 - $300 a year doing nothing other than singing up as a coach.
If you’re doing the 21 Day Fix and want to go another round in the challenge groups but with another program such as P90X3 or Country heat, signing up as a coach makes financial sense. You’ll get 25% on all programs and Shakeology orders. Discount coaching is, in fact, the most common type of coach there is. Beachbody stated that nearly 85% of coaches sign up solely for the discount. There is a $15.95 monthly fee as a coach (to maintain your website/coach online office) but you’ll recoup that in Shakeology savings. If you get Shakeology each month, it’s a no-brainer.
How much does Beachbody coaching cost?
It costs $39.95 to become a coach. About a month after you sign-up you’ll be billed $15.95 every month. That’s it! You are under no obligation to sell or purchase a certain amount of product each month and there are no penalties. When you go through the coach sign-up process you also have the option of purchasing a “Challenge Pack” which includes the workout program of your choice, Shakeology, and 30 days of free Club membership which includes a meal planning tool with shopping lists. The challenge pack is optional but if you purchase one your $39.95 sign-up fee will be waived which is the way most people choose to go. The price of the challenge pack starts at $140 which is only $10 more than Shakeology alone.

“Discount Coach” – A Beachbody customer who has signed up to coach solely for the discount on programs and Shakeology.
Hobby Coach/Brand Ambassador – A Beachbody coach who uses the product, refers friends to the challenge groups but does not actively build his/her business or coach others. This coach often earns back the cost of their own Shakeology/programs through the 25% network commission.
Business Coach – A Beachbody coach who is actively building his/her business by engaging clients in challenge groups, offering advice, signing up other coaches, and building brand recognition through social media (I classify myself as a Business Coach)
