Acai Bowl - Simple...Delicious... SUPERFOOD!



An Açaí bowl is basically a really thick smoothie that's been topped with granola, oatmeal, fruit or peanut butter, and then you happily wolf it down with a spoon!!! Açaí bowls are a tasty way to begin your day with a healthy breakfast, or as some quick fuel for the afternoon.

Here is one of my favorite recipes: Ingredients:

  • 1 red container of Plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1/2 c frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 c blueberries

  • 2 tbsp coconut/almond milk

  • 2 tsp of organic honey

  • 1 and 1/2 tsp of acai powder

  • 1 cup mixed fresh fruit of your choice

  • 1 orange container of unsweetened coconut flakes

  • 1 yellow container of granola - look for CLEAN GRANOLA - no fake sugars or sweeteners

Directions:

In a blender combine the Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries and blueberries with coconut milk and Açaí powder and blend until smooth. Then top with a purple container of mixed fresh fruit, the 1/2 container of unsweetened coconut flakes and granola and enjoy!!!
