7 Shakeology Recipes That Are Perfect for Summer

Personally I think these recipes are perfect not only for summer but all year long!

 

Lemon Bar


This shake uses lemon juice and grated lemon zest to give it the sweet, tangy flavor of a lemon bar cookie. Enjoy it for dessert or as a morning pick-me-up!

Ingredients: ¾ cup nonfat milk ¼ cup water 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology 1 tsp. finely chopped lemon peel (lemon zest) 1 cup ice

Preparation: 1. Place milk, water, lemon juice, extract, Shakeology, lemon, peel, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Serve immediately.

Who says you can’t have dessert for breakfast? S’mores is an iconic summertime treat and this Shakeology recipe captures the season’s iconic flavor. There’s even a version with coffee, if you need your caffeine fix!

Ingredients: 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology 2 tsp. ground whole wheat graham cracker crumbs, divided use 1 cup ice

Preparation: 1. Place almond milk, extract, Shakeology, 1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Pour into a serving glass and garnish with remaining 1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs; serve immediately.


 

Strawberry Lemonade


Strawberry lemonade combines the zesty flavor of lemons with the sweetness of fresh strawberries. We use a secret ingredient to make this recipe extra tasty.

Ingredients: 1 cup water 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. pure maple syrup 1 cup ice

Preparation: 1. Place water, Shakeology, lemon juice, maple syrup, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

The 4th of July only happens once a summer, but you can incorporate the bold and beautiful colors of the American flag into your next shake any time of the year.

Ingredients: 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or rice milk or nonfat milk) 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology ¼ cup fresh blueberries ¼ cup fresh strawberries 1 cup ice

Preparation: 1. Place almond milk, Shakeology, blueberries, strawberries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Containers ½ Purple 1 Red ½ Yellow

 

Strawberry Mojito


Mojitos could easily be crowned the cocktail of summer. Recreate a mocktail version using sparkling water, fresh lime juice, and lots of mint and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the beach with just one sip!

Ingredients: 1 cup sparkling water, divided use 1 tsp. finely grated lime peel 3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice 1 scoop Tropical Strawberry Shakeology 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint leaves 1 cup ice Fresh mint sprig (for garnish; optional) Strawberry slice (for garnish; optional)

Preparation: 1. Place ½ cup water, lime peel, lime juice, Shakeology, mint, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Add remaining ½ cup water; mix well. Garnish with mint and strawberry slice if desired.
