Bacon Avocado Burger - Whole30 Approved



This recipe was adapted from the Park Place Kitchen's Garlic Bacon Burgers, I decided to cut the garlic down and add some onion powder and a few more spices! They were delicious and even better the next day for leftovers.

What you need:

  • 1¼ lb ground beef

  • ½ lb bacon (sugar free)

  • 3 large cloves garlic

  • ¼ teaspoon pink himalayan sea salt

  • ¼ teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 avocado

What you do:

  1. Using a food processor, pulse the bacon strips until they are ground.You can also chop with knife into tiny peices if you do not have food processor

  2. Mince the garlic and place in a large bowl. Add the ground beef and bacon into the bowl. Sprinkle with seasoning. Using your hands, combine the meats, garlic, and seasoning until well blended.

  3. Divide the meat into ¼ pound sections and shape into patties.

  4. Cook on grill to desired temp.

  5. Serve with a few avocado slices on top of each burger!

I also grilled large portobello mushrooms and served it on that! ​
