Southern Spiced French Toast with Bananas & Pecans. 💥



One of the things I LOVE MOST about all of Beachbodys home fitness programs is they come with an eating plan and in the back of that plan are new yummy recipes! This is one from Country Heat!#YeeHaa I made it for dinner last night and it was delicious ....#nomnom Southern Spiced French Toast with Bananas & Pecans. 💥

INGREDIENTS: Serves 4 ️4 large eggs ️1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, I used unsweetened coconut almond milk ️1 Tbsp pure maple syrup ️1 tsp pumpkin pie spice ️4 slices sprouted whole grain bread , I used Ezekiel ️2 tsp coconut oil ️1 large banana, sliced ️1/2 cup chopped raw pecans RECIPE: • Combine eggs, almond milk, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice in a shallow pan; whisk to blend. • Soak each slice of bread in egg mixture for two minutes, turning halfway. • Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. • Add bread; cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. • Top each slice evenly with banana and pecans; serve and enjoy! 😋 I also drizzled 2 more tsp of Maple Syrup on top!! 1 Y ▪ 1/2 P ▪ 1/2 R ▪ 1/2 B ▪ 1 tsp (Extra maple syrup is free .. up to 4 tsp of sweetener)
